Leo Herreygers was born in Antwerp Belgium 1959, one of six children. His Father an Artist in Belgium and his Mother a dress designer. Being a working Artist in Brisbane for the past 25 years after finalising an Art Degree has earned him the respect of all work displayed.
Scenic Artist and Designer for Staging Dimensions (Corporate Staging and Events Co.) past 16 years, previously 7 years with the Royal Queensland Theatre Company, Qld Opera, Qld Youth Ballet, 3 year Apprenticeship with Scenery Makers Australia.
Recent Work, Mother Africa @ Jupiter’s Casino on the Gold Coast, Qld Opera - Fidelio - Playhouse QPAT, Qld Youth Ballet – Snow Queen.
In between time Leo has put together a series of Fine Art. Paintings have sold in Australia, Scotland, Switzerland, and Germany. Artwork has also been commissioned for Personal and Corporate.
